WE ARE ALL WORTHY OF WELLNESS & PEACE
Quality, Culturally Competent Mental Health Care and Holistic Services
"When you touch one thing with deep awareness, you touch everything."
Restorative Health and Wellness is born out of the idea that we are all worthy of wellness and peace; restoration to functioning as our favorite self in a world that makes this hard to identify.
As a social worker recognizing the full impact that stress, trauma, and family have on the wellbeing of the community I serve, I wanted to be able to offer services to address our total health. In many communities historically access to quality culturally competent mental health care is not available or, its importance has not always been understood or appreciated.
Restorative Health and Wellness seeks to provide our clients with access to quality, culturally competent mental health care through individual therapy, yoga practice, reiki, and therapeutic community groups in collaboration with our sister agency Tools For Success Counseling LLC. We want our Black and Brown communities and communities typically underserved to feel valued and understood in a space of individual and communal healing.

"I am a 32 year old black, female, doctorate student, and therapist who was in need of a therapist after 2020 rocked us all to our core. I desperately needed help with imposter syndrome in the wake of social injustice and balancing self care, Shalonda helped me restore my confidence and fight off multilayered microaggressions. I found her to be culturally attuned and sensitive to my therapeutic needs. I am glad to have found Restorative Health and Wellness."
